We're hosting our first Drop & Shop event. Donate your gently used books to the Friends of the Amesbury Public Library, then shop at our pop-up book sale!

When: Saturday November 19th 10AM - 2PM
Where: Located in front of the Amesbury Public Library

Donation Guidelines

PLEASE adhere to our donation guidelines below.

We appreciate and DO accept your gently used books in good condition for Adults, Children and Young Adults. Condition matters! Please ask yourself “Would I buy this book and display it in my home?”

Friends volunteers reserve the right to decline any donation based on condition; dirty, musty or damaged books will not be accepted.

We do NOT accept:

Magazines
Reference books – e.g. encyclopedias, dictionaries, etc.
Text books, workbooks
Music in any format
Film/movies in any format
Puzzles or games
Readers Digest books
Time Life Series book sets
Computer books
